Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Weather, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Weather. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and accept these terms before you use the app. The app does not ask you to type a name or email.
License and restrictions
Rovyn LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Weather on devices you own or control, for your own use, while you follow these terms.
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the app
- reverse engineer the app except where the law allows
- scrape, overload, or interfere with Weather or its providers
- bypass purchase checks or other access controls
Acceptable use
Use Weather only in a lawful way. Do not use the app to harm people, break the law, or abuse the service. Do not use AI-generated wallpapers to create unlawful, hateful, or abusive images.
Subscriptions
Weather offers paid subscriptions on iOS through Apple and on Android through Google. Apple or Google bills the subscription. Rovyn does not take a card number.
iOS
On iOS, payment charged to the Apple ID at confirmation starts the subscription. The subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that end. You can manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings.
On iOS, Apple's Standard EULA also applies to Weather, in addition to these terms. Apple's App Store rules apply to billing on iOS.
Android
On Android, payment charged through Google Play at confirmation starts the subscription. The subscription renews until you cancel. You can manage or cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Google Play rules apply to billing on Android.
Plus and Pro
The paid subscription tiers are Plus and Pro. Each tier is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. Features in each tier are described in the app at the time you subscribe.
Sign-in
Sign-in is optional. You can buy Plus or Pro without signing in. On iOS, Sign in with Apple lets you keep that purchase if you change devices. On Android, Sign in with Google does the same. An install that never signs in cannot be recovered that way.
Account deletion
You can delete an account with in-app Settings → Account → Delete account, as described in the Weather privacy policy. If you are not in the app, use Delete your Weather account. Deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel that subscription first in Apple subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions.
Forecasts
Forecasts and other weather information can be wrong or late. Do not use Weather for safety-critical decisions, including travel, aviation, marine activity, or emergency planning. Follow official warnings from weather and emergency authorities.
AI-generated wallpapers
Weather can generate wallpapers from weather conditions, time of day, and a place label. You may use wallpapers you generate for personal use on your devices. Outputs can be wrong, odd, or unrelated to the real place. The wallpaper is not a forecast and is not a photograph of the location. Rovyn and its providers keep their rights in the models and systems that generate the images.
Refunds
Apple and Google handle refunds for Weather purchases under their store policies. Request a refund through Apple or Google, using Apple subscription settings, Google Play subscriptions, or the store's refund process. Rovyn does not process those store refunds.
Purchases
Paid features unlock after Weather confirms the purchase with Apple or Google. A store product identifier by itself does not unlock them.
Advertising
The app does not include a third-party advertising SDK.
Crash diagnostics
On Android, Firebase Crashlytics receives crash stack traces, the app's state at the crash, and point-in-time device metadata (model, OS, RAM, disk, and whether the device is rooted). It also receives a crash report id for that install. Firebase keeps those crash reports and identifiers for 90 days. On iOS, Apple MetricKit stays on the device. The app does not upload MetricKit payloads to Rovyn or to a crash-reporting vendor. iOS does not use Crashlytics. Android does not use MetricKit.
Disclaimer of warranties
Weather is provided as is and as available. Rovyn does not warrant that forecasts, wallpapers, or other information in the app are accurate, complete, or timely. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rovyn disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rovyn LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Weather or from forecasts or wallpapers the app shows. Rovyn's total liability for claims under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for Weather subscriptions in the twelve months before the claim, to the extent a court allows that limit. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
Suspension and termination
Rovyn may suspend or end your access to Weather if you break these terms or if the law requires it. You may stop using the app at any time. Stopping use or deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription.
Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, we update the Last updated date at the top of this page. If you keep using Weather after that date, you accept the changed terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without choosing the law of any particular state. If a dispute is heard in court, it may be heard in a United States federal or state court of competent jurisdiction.
