Delete your Weather account
Weather is an app from Rovyn LLC. If you can open Weather, delete the account there. Use this page only when you cannot.
If you can open the app
The preferred and strongest way to delete a Weather account is in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This page is the path when you are not in the app.
Request deletion
Email hello@rovyn.tech. There is no form on this page. The button opens a message with the subject "Delete my Weather account" and a blank line for your Weather Account ID.
What to include
The Weather Account ID identifies the account. It is not proof that you own it.
- Weather Account ID. Open Settings in Weather. The Account ID is shown there and can be copied. Include it so we can find the account.
For an email request, we may ask for additional information to confirm the account is yours. We may decline if we cannot verify that.
Rovyn will never ask for your Account ID in an unsolicited email.
What we delete and what we keep
The Weather privacy policy is the current description of what account deletion removes and what we keep. In short, deletion removes the Weather account and the data tied to that account, including linked sign-in, device registration, saved places, and wallpaper history. After you delete your account, we keep a pseudonymised record of the store purchase (kept under a stand-in ID, no longer connected to your account) for about seven years. It stays tied to the store transaction so that a later restore with valid proof from the App Store or Google Play can be matched, and the same purchase is not active on two accounts at once. If you restore it, it moves to the account you restore it on. What stays is subscription and plan status facts, a store purchase ownership record, and a deletion-request ledger.
When we reply, we will confirm what applies to your account.
How long it takes
We read mail at hello@rovyn.tech and reply within a few business days. A deletion request is handled in that same window.
